A fun and immersive audio guided walk around 4 beautiful locations.
In Autumn 2022 Somer Valley Rediscovered was awarded funding from the West of England Combined Authority’s Green Recovery Fund for a Greenspace project in Radstock, Westfield and Midsomer Norton.
Working in partnership with the three town and parish councils in the area (Radstock Town Council, Westfield Parish Council and Midsomer Norton Town Council), Somer Valley Rediscovered is supporting the development and management of 5 key green spaces to ensure that they can make genuine contributions to nature recovery, whilst providing and enabling better access to nature for people.
Working with local radio station Somer Valley FM, we’re pleased to announce 5 new audio trails. These trails are covering Midsomer Norton Town Park, Haydon Batch, Waterside Valley and Wellow Brook. Staddlestones Riverside Park will be launching in the coming months.
The guided audio trails teach you all there is to know about these beautiful locations, the history and some really interesting facts. These trails can be followed whilst walking around the site or from the comfort of your own home.
